The ISGS website also provides information on all of the society’s projects, which include ALPL Book Project (to provide additional genealogical materials for the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library), Ancestor Charts, Angel Projects (to provide funds for microfilmed genealogical records for the Illinois State Archives), Cemetery Records, Church Records, Family Bible Records, Military Certificates (for Blackhawk War, War of 1812, Civil War, World War I and World War II), and Prairie Pioneers.
ISGS also offers research services to genealogists and has many publications available.
