DANVILLE — Here’s a look at recent law enforcement calls:

Danville

Monday:

Theft in the 700 block of East English Street.

Battery and disorderly conduct in the 100 block of North Griffin Street.

A man arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, aggravated fleeing and eluding police and resisting an officer at East Main Street and Pennsylvania Avenue.

Identity theft in the first block of California Avenue.

Burglary in the 800 block of Bryan Avenue.

Property damage at North Gilbert and Bluff streets.

A man arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 900 block of Redden Court.

Tuesday:

A woman arrested for aggravated battery in the 500 block of Robinson Street.

Vermilion County

Sunday:

Battery in the first block of Brewer Road.

Monday:

Property damage at Makendree Cemetery, Georgetown.

A woman arrested for domestic battery in the 300 block of North Market Street.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Thursday, 2:44 p.m. At Gilbert and Williams streets involving Gary Hurst, 46, of Georgetown; Ashley Woodsmall, 23, of Brownsburg, Ind.; and Jennifer Dolbee, 60, of Fairmount. Hurst was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Friday, 9:30 a.m. At Gilbert and North streets involving Tyler Rockwell, 18, of Bismarck; Ashley Tucker, 27, of Georgetown; and Dalane Bradfield, 50, of Bismarck. Rockwell was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Friday, 6:44 p.m. At Stoney Creek and Grape Creek Road involving Andre White, 18, of the 700 block of Commercial Street. he was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving without a valid driver’s license.

Firefighters responded to the following calls:

Monday, 11:39 p.m.-12:32 a.m. Power lines down in the 500 block of Chester Street.

Tuesday, 1:17-1:29 a.m. A medical call in the 300 block of Lynch Drive.

Tuesday, 2:40-3:02 a.m. A medical call in the 100 block of National Avenue.

Tuesday, 5:16-5:32 a.m. A medical call in the first block of North Alexander Street.
