July 22:

Theft in the 700 block of Wayne Street.

Sunday:

Criminal damage at Harmon and Davis streets.

Monday:

Residential burglary/theft in the 900 block of East Madison Street.

Residential burglary/theft in the 500 block of Porter Street.

Burglary in the 300 block of South Kansas Street.

Criminal damage to property in the 1500 block of East Fairchild Street.

Burglary to a residence off 1800 East Road in Newell Township.

Theft reported by Vermilion County Animal Control at Michigan and Voorhees streets.

Theft of $50 from a room in the 800 block of North Logan Avenue.

Residential burglary off 1970 East Road.

Residential burglary in the 100 block of Elmwood Avenue.

Residential burglary in the 100 block of Minnesota Avenue.

Stolen vehicle in the 1300 block of East Williams Street.

Burglary to a vehicle in the 900 block of Blue Ridge Drive.

Burglary to a vehicle in the 300 block of East North Street.

Today:

Criminal damage in the unit block of North Vermilion Street.

Vermilion County

Monday:

Female arrested in connection with criminal trespass to property in the 100 block of East Ross Lane in Tilton.

JP Morgan Chase reports a central air conditioning unit stolen in the 100 block of East 16th Street in Georgetown.

Theft in the 1700 block of Urbana Street in Westville.

Theft in the 100 block of West Clinton Street in Fithian.

Domestic battery in the 600 block of Brentwood Street in Tilton.

Firefighters responded to the following calls:

Monday, 11:37-11:48 a.m. – Carbon monoxide investigation in the 300 block of North Cedarwood Drive.

Monday, 1:19-1:42 p.m. – Illegal burning in the 900 block of James Place.

Monday, 2:30-2:49 p.m. – Illegal burning in the 900 block of Wakely Drive.

  • Police investigate shooting report

    DANVILLE — City police investigated reports of a shooting in the 1000 block of Moore Street about 6:30 p.m.

    Preliminary reports had as many as three people with gunshot wounds. Ambulances were called to assist two of the people with wounds to the leg and one with a chest wound.

    The investigation continued Friday evening.
