DANVILLE — The city council’s Public Services Committee has a light agenda for its meeting on Wednesday.

There is only one action item in addition to regular reports from city departments.

Aldermen will consider accepting the donation of office furniture.

Gary Dyar, with Shick School and Office Supply, has a storage room full of office furniture owned by Central Illinois Bank.

Dyar contacted the bank as a result of a city employee request for a donation of the furniture to the city.

The city is in need of office furniture for various departments, and most of the office equipment is in good shape and could be used immediately, according to the resolution.

The Danville City Council’s Public Services Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Robert E. Jones Municipal Building, 17 W. Main St.

The City/County Public Safety Building Committee will meet prior to the meeting at 6 p.m. to discuss masonry and caulking at the Public Safety Building.
