DANVILLE — Here’s a look at recent law enforcement calls:

Danville

Tuesday:

Theft in the first block of East Main Street.

Assault in the 300 block of North Washington Street.

Retail theft at Sears, 2917 N. Vermilion St.

Wednesday:

Burglary in the 700 block of Florida Avenue.

Aggravated discharge of a firearm reported in the area of Fair Oaks Housing Complex, East Fairchild Street.

Burglary in the first block of North State Street.

Burglary in the 200 block of South Virginia Avenue.

A woman arrested for domestic battery in the 1800 block of Perrysville Road.

A man arrested for retail theft at Kmart, 2721 N. Vermilion St.

A man arrested for disorderly conduct, assault, possession of a controlled substance and theft in the 100 block of East Davis Street.

A man arrested for domestic battery and obstructing an officer at North Vermilion and Townsend streets.

Forgery reported at Family Dollar, 1228 E. Main St.

Burglary, theft and property damage in the first block of National Avenue.

A man arrested for criminal trespassing and attempted theft at Winter Avenue and Michigan Avenue.

Domestic battery reported at Danville Area Community College, 2000 E. Main St.

Vermilion County

Wednesday:

Reckless conduct reported at Illinois Route 1 and Illinois  Route 119.

Deceptive practice in the 1300 block of Oakwood Avenue.

Medication stolen in the 100 block of Holmes Street, Rossville.

A man arrested for domestic battery along County Road 2750N, Bismark.

Trespassing in the 300 block of North Johnson Street, Rankin.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Wednesday, 12:07 p.m. At Bowman Avenue and Williams Street involving Jennifer Swaim, 26, of the 900 block of Maple Street; John Smith, 50, of Danville, and Kathlee Faber, 56, of Danville. Swaim collided with Smith’s vehicle, pushing it into a First Student school bus. Smith and a passenger received minor injuries and were taken to Provena United Samaritans Medical Center. A 4-year-old student on the bus was not injured.

Wednesday, 12:19 p.m. At Gilbert and First streets involving Farrel Holt, 18, of the 100 block of Mapleleaf Drive, and Gentsha Herring, 23, of Danville. Holt was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Wednesday, 12:12 p.m. At Gilbert and Main streets involving Mollie Bogart, 65, of the 100 block of Mauck Lane, and Rickie Nixon, 38, of Fairmount. Bogart was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Firefighters responded to the following calls:

Wednesday, 10:18-10:34 a.m. A gas odor reported at 310 Eastgate Drive.

Wednesday, 2:27-2:38 p.m. An alarm activation at 200 S. Kansas Ave.

Wednesday, 3:51-3:58 p.m. A medical call in the 600 block of Grant Street.

Thursday, 1:09-1:18 a.m. A medical call in the 600 block of Jewell Street.

Thursday, 2:03-2:15 a.m. A medical call in the 1200 block of International Place.
