DANVILLE — Here’s a look at recent law enforcement calls:

Danville

Monday:

Property damage in the first block of South State Street.

Theft in the 800 block of South Forrest Avenue.

Tuesday:

Theft in the 100 block of South Buchanan Street.

Property damage in the 1700 block of Glenwood Drive.

Forgery in the 3200 block of Brunswick Street.

A woman arrested for retail theft at Walmart Supercenter, 4101 N. Vermilion St.

Domestic battery in the 100 block of South Buchanan Street.

Property damage in the 100 block of Oregon Avenue.

Trespassing and domestic battery in the 1200 block of Garden Drive.

Burglary in the first block of South State Street.

Vehicle burglary in the 900 block of Holiday Drive.

Wednesday

A woman arrested for obstructing justice and obstructing an officer at Griffin and Williams streets.

Attempted armed robbery in the 300 block of Lynch Drive.

Vermilion County

Sunday:

Theft in the 1600 block of Georgetown Road, Georgetown.

Monday:

Burglary and theft in the 700 block of Mill Road, Georgetown.

Deceptive practice in the 800 block of North Main Street, Georgetown.

A man arrested for domestic battery in Fairmount.

Wednesday:

A woman arrested for obstructing an officer at Phillips 66, Westville.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

July 24, 8:19 p.m. — At East Williams and North Collett streets involving Deana Winters, 41, of the 900 block of Skyline Drive, and Jimmy Thompson, 26, of the 600 block of Robinson Street. Winters was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident while Thompson was cited for not having a valid driver’s license.

July 25, 3:58 p.m. — At Swisher and Oak streets involving Amy Gillen, 34, of West Lebanon, Ind., and Daniel Tarpley, 56, of Danville. Gillen was cited for disobeying a stop sign, driving without insurance and improper display of license plates.

Friday, 1:40 p.m. — At Newell and Townsend streets involving Donna Laws, 64, of Cayuga, Ind., and Crystal Simmons, 40, of Danville. Laws was cited for improper lane usage.
