Friday:

Battery in the first block of Illinois Street.

Disorderly conduct in the 1000 block of East Fairchild Street.

Property damage in the 100 block of Bremer Street.

Theft in the 300 block of Franklin Street.

Disorderly conduct in the 700 block of Woodbury Street.

Saturday:

Domestic battery in the 600 block of East Williams Street.

Property damage in the 1200 block of Clarence Street.

Domestic battery in the 900 block of Hubbard Lane.

Disorderly conduct in the 2000 block of West Main Street.

Property damage in the first block of Morin Street.

Property damage in the 1300 block of East Fairchild Street.

A woman arrested for retail theft at the Village Mall, 2917 N. Vermilion St.

Property damage in the first block of Kentucky Avenue.

Theft in the 600 block of East English Street.

Theft at Jackson and Seminary streets.

Theft in the 1200 block of Chandler Street.

A woman arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 1200 block of East Main Street.

Sunday:

Trespassing in the 200 block of East English Street.

Burglary in the 1200 block of Garden Drive.

Property damage in the 700 block of Edith Street.

Battery, aggravated discharge of a firearm and vehicle invasion in the 100 block of North Griffin Street.

Possession of cannabis in the 900 block of Campbell Lane.

Burglary in the 700 block of Harmon Street.

Disorderly conduct in the 500 block of North Collett Street.

Report of shots fired in the 900 block of Fowler Avenue.

Possession of cannabis in the 900 block of Campbell Lane.

Vermilion County

Saturday:

A man arrested for domestic battery and obstructing justice in the 1200 block of U.S. Route 136, Potomac.

Two women arrested for criminal damage to state supported property in the 400 block of East Honeywell Street, Hoopeston.

Sunday:

Theft and theft of medication in the 1300 block of Polk Street.

    Hank Hornbeck, superintendent of Hoopeston Area schools, informed board members Thursday that staff health insurance rates would increase 5.99 percent from the previous year. Health insurance would remain with Health Alliance.
