DANVILLE — Presence United Samaritans Medical Center’s east entrance will be closed temporarily beginning Monday for five to six weeks, due to an exterior renovation project. The east entrance, also known as the “surgery ramp entrance,” faces Logan Avenue.
Work will begin next week to clean the exterior, replace windows, and renovate the entrance itself. During this time, signs will be posted to direct patient and visitor traffic to either the north entrance or the main entrance. Patients needing wheelchair assistance should use the main entrance.
This project is being funded by a grant as part of Gov. Quinn’s Illinois Jobs NowHospital Capital Investment Program.
