DANVILLE — Here’s a look at recent law enforcement calls:

Danville

Thursday:

Domestic battery in the 500 block of North Griffin Street.

A woman arrested for retail theft at Kmart, 2721 N. Vermilion St.

Trespassing in the 300 block of Plum Street.

Theft and trespassing in the 500 block of Robinson Street.

Identity theft reported at Watson General Tire, 700 E. Main St.

Theft in the 200 block of English Street.

A man arrested for domestic battery in the 200 block of West English Street.

A man arrested for possession of cannabis in the 900 block of Moore Street.

A man arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of stolen property in the 2600 block of Cannon Street.

Vermilion County

Thursday:

A man arrested for aggravated fleeing and eluding police and a woman arrested for obstructing justice in the 1700 block of Batestown Road.

A man and a woman arrested for domestic battery in the 300 block of Benton Street, Rossville.

Identity theft in the first block of Village Court, Westville.

A man arrested for disorderly conduct in the 200 block of East 12th Street, Georgetown.

Property damage in the 500 block of Brown Road.

A woman arrested for obstructing justice in the 200 block of West 13th Street, Georgetown.

Friday:

A man arrested for battery at Stone and Park streets, Georgetown.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Wednesday, 8:15 a.m. At Logan Avenue and North Street involving Joshua Miller, 22, of the 22100 block of Carlton Dell Road, and Thomas Meyer, 68, of Danville. Miller was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Thursday, 12:37 p.m. At North Griffin and East English streets involving Debrisha Herring, 18, of the 1000 block of Hillside Drive, and Pamela Potts, 45, in the 900 block of Campbell Lane. Herring was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving without insurance and driving without a driver’s license on her person.

Firefighters responded to the following calls:

Thursday, 12:30-12:39 p.m. A power line down at 1124 Lake Ridge.

Thursday, 2:03-2:09 p.m. A medical call in the 100 block of East Seminary Street.
