Retail theft at Kmart, 2721 N. Vermilion St.


Disorderly conduct in the 200 block of New York Street.

Retail theft at the Family Dollar, 1228 E. Main St.


A man arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest in the 300 block of East Madison Street.

Vehicle burglary in the 3100 block of North Vermilion Street.

Burglary in the 700 block of Grant Street.

Vehicle burglary in the 2100 block of North Vermilion Street.

Battery at the Danville Family YMCA, 1111 N. Vermilion St.

Property damage in the 900 block of Belton Avenue.

Burglary in the 1000 block of Koehn Drive.

Battery at Seminary Street and Bowman Avenue.

Battery in the 500 block of South Buchanan Street.

Burglary in the 700 block of Grant Street.


A woman arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license in the 1700 block of East English Street.

Vermilion County


Disorderly conduct in the 1700 block of North Main Street, Georgetown.


Aggravated battery along East Fourth Street, Rankin.


Attempted theft by deception in the 20200 block of Rileysburg Road.

Firefighters responded to the following calls:

Monday, 8:26-8:41 a.m. A sparking outlet at 604 E. Williams St.

Monday, 4:55-5:15 p.m. An illegal burn investigation at Fairchild Street and Kingdom Avenue.

Monday, 7:24-7:34 p.m. A recreational fire at 208 Grace St.

Monday, 9:58-10:08 p.m.An investigation at 520 S. Bowman Ave.

Monday, 10:43-10:58 p.m. A medical call in the 600 block of Plum Street.

Tuesday, 3:51-4:13 a.m. A medical call in the first block of Green Acres.
