DANVILLE — Here’s a look at recent law enforcement calls:



Three windows broken by rocks being thrown in the 200 block of Clements Street.


Residential burglary in the 600 block of Pixley Drive.

Entry door damaged in the unit block of South State Street.


Danville male arrested in connection with retail theft at Sears, 2917 N. Vermilion St.

Retail theft of $115.78 in fuel reported at Circle K, 401 W. Main St.

Brake line cut on a vehicle while parked in the employee parking lot at Krupp Gerlach, 75 Waltz Creek Drive.

Possession of cannabis/forfeiture of cannabis funds in the unit block of Lake Street.

Danville male issued a notice to appear in court for public indecency in the 600 block of West Williams Street.

Assault in the unit block of South Griffin Street.

Residential burglary in the 100 block of Edwards Avenue.

Residential burglary in the 1800 block of Perrysville Road.

Vermilion County


Burglary in the 300 block of West Third Street in Rankin.


Trees damaged at Main and War Memorial in Rankin.

Domestic disturbance in the unit block of East Wilson Street in Henning.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Tuesday, 2:56 p.m. — At 1548 Greenwood Cemetery Road involving Courtney E. Sexton, 27, of the 300 block of Lete Lane. Sexton was reportedly injured and taken to Presence United Samaritans Medical Center. She was ticketed for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Firefighters responded to the following calls:

Tuesday, 9:07-9:22 a.m. — Medical call in the 400 block of Park Street.

Tuesday, 6:03-6:19 p.m. — Carbon monoxide detector activation in the 1600 block of Robinson Street.

Tuesday, 7:37-7:44 p.m. — Medical call in the 1100 block of North Gilbert Street.
