DANVILLE — Here’s a look at recent law enforcement calls:

Danville

Wednesday:

Burglary in the 500 block of Sidell Street.

Retail theft at Dollar General, 100 N. Griffin St.

Retail theft at County Market, 2 E. Main St.

Battery  in the 1100 block of North Walnut Street.

Theft in the 500 block of West Harrison Street.

Disorderly conduct in the 1500 block of Valley View.

Vehicle burglary, theft and property damage in the 1500 block of North Franklin Street.

Thursday:

Disorderly conduct in the 800 block of East Main Street.

Burglary in the 200 block of Stroup Street.

Burglary in the 1300 block of East Main Street.

Theft in the 100 block of Eastgate Court.

Burglary and property damage in the 500 block of Elmwood Drive.

A man arrested for battery and disorderly conduct in the 400 block of South Buchanan Street.

A man arrested for criminal trespassing on state-supported property in the 900 block of Moore Street.

Friday:

A man arrested for possession of a controlled substance and obstructing justice in the 1600 block of Clyman Court.

Possession of cannabis at Fairchild Street and Wakley Drive.

Vermilion County

Wednesday:

Identity theft in the 200 block of Bryan Street, Catlin.

Domestic dispute along County Road 755N, Georgetown.

Thursday:

Assault in the first block of Greenwood Cemetery Road.

Property damage in the 500 block of Brown Road.

Theft in the 14700 block of Lee Road.

Friday:

A man arrested for domestic battery and criminal damage to property in the 16200 block of Clingan Lane.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Thursday, 7:11 a.m. At Collett and Voorhees streets involving Angela Taylor, 34, of the 1100 block of Martin Street, and Jason Dixon, 38, of the 1300 block of North Franklin Street. Taylor was cited for improper lane usage while Dixon was cited for failure to yield.

Firefighters responded to the following calls:

Thursday, 8:50-9:04 a.m. Assist Medix in the first block of South Virginia Avenue.

Thursday, 3:44-3:57 p.m. A person stuck in an elevator at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center, 812 N. Logan Ave.

Thursday, 11:19-11:26 p.m. A medical call in the 1000 block of Campbell Lane.
