Burglary at North Vermilion Family Dental, 3607 N. Vermilion St.

Possession of cannabis in the 900 block of Wakley Drive.

A man arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, retail theft and resisting arrest at Walmart SuperCenter, 4101 N. Vermilion St.


Trespassing in the 1000 block of Campbell Lane.

A man arrested for disorderly conduct in the 1900 block of West Williams Street.

Disorderly conduct in the 200 block of Delaware Avenue.

A woman arrested for battery in the 1700 block of North Bowman Avenue.

Aggravated battery in the first block of South Crawford Street.

A man arrested for domestic battery in the 800 block of East South Street.

Property damage at Mach 1, 510 N. Gilbert St.

Trespassing and disorderly conduct in the 500 block of North Franklin Street.


A man arrested for aggravated domestic battery in the first block of Minnesota Avenue.

Theft along County Road 670N, Georgetown.


Domestic dispute in the 1000 block of Oakwood Street.

Disorderly conduct in the 300 block of Ohlmstead Street, Oakwood.

Burglary and theft in the 300 block of North Eastern Street, Georgetown.

Domestic dispute in the 6000 block of Illinois Route 1, Olivet.

Domestic dispute in the first block of Henderson Road.

Disorderly conduct along County Road 2315E.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Feb. 4, 3:19 p.m. — At Voorhees Street and Michigan Avenue involving Debaleena Kabira, 36, of Champaign, and Amela Haluska, 44, of the 100 block of Jefferson Street. Kabira was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident while Haluska was cited for driving without insurance.

Thursday, 12:27 p.m. — At North Bowman Avenue and Crestview Drive involving Isiah Bibb, 27, of the 600 block of East Seminary Street, and Demetric Hightower, 27, of the 1100 block of Saratoga Drive. Bibb was cited for driving without insurance and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident while Hightower was cited for driving with an expired registration and driving without insurance.
