Property damage in the 300 block of South Fletcher Drive.

Report of an armed robbery near Franklin and Townsend streets.

Domestic battery in the 900 block of Michigan Avenue.

Disorderly conduct in the first block of Pennsylvania Avenue.


Robbery report in the 4100 block of North Vermilion Street.

Assault and battery in the first block of Country Club Road.

Report of a shot fired in the 900 block of Lewis Lane.

Aggravated battery in the 100 block of Fairweight Avenue.

Property damage in the 600 block of Hazel Street.

A woman arrested for retail theft in the first block of East Main Street.

Burglary in the 1700 block of Deerwood Street.

Property damage in the first block of West Townsend Street.

Disorderly conduct in the 1000 block of Hillside Drive.

A woman arrested for deceptive practices and possession of methamphetamines at Walmart Supercenter, 4101 N. Vermilion St.

Vermilion County


Two men and a woman arrested for possession of cannabis in the 500 block of North Main Street, Georgetown.

Battery in the 400 block of North Range Street, Ridge Farm.


A man arrested for domestic battery in the 400 block of South Main Street, Rankin.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Wednesday, 7:48 a.m. In the 2100 block of Batestown Road involving Peter Swinson, 57,  of Catlin, and Peny Davis, 62, of Danville.. Swinson was cited for driving without a secure load.

Firefighters responded to the following calls:

Wednesday, 10:12-10:23 a.m. A medical call in the 600 block of Warrington Avenue.

Wednesday, 11:58 a.m.-12:13 p.m. A medical call along Country Club Drive.

Wednesday, 2:28-2:58 p.m. An outdoor burning at Voorhees Street and Logan Avenue.

Thursday, 12:19-12:57 a.m. An alarm activation at 723 Oak St.

Thursday, 12:25-12:34 a.m. — A medical call ini the 700 block of Grant Street.

Thursday, 12:38-12:51 a.m. A vehicle accident at Griffin and Seminary streets.

Thursday, 6:33-6:50 a.m. A medical call in the 1300 block of North Vermilion Street.
