Retail theft at Walmart Supercenter, 4101 N. Vermilion St.

Battery in the 800 block of Johnson Street.

Vehicle damaged in he 700 block of Cleveland Street.

Forgery reported at Village mall, 2917 N. Vermilion St.


Theft in the 2700 block of Townway Street.

A man arrested for obstructing justice, driving after revocation and unlawful possession of a registration sticker at Griffin and Seminary streets.

Deceptive practice in the first block of Cedar Street.

Theft in the 700 block of Grant Street.

Trespassing in the 1700 block of East Fairchild Street.

Trespassing in the 200 block of Clements Street.

Domestic battery in the 300 block of Bradley Street.

Property damage in the 1000 block of Harmon Street.


A man arrested for domestic battery in the 100 block of Tennessee Avenue.

Vermilion County


One woman and two men arrested for disorderly conduct in Tilton.


Domestic incident at Shelby Mobile Home Park, Westville.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Thursday, 8:05 a.m. At Main Street and Minnesota Avenue involving Walter Bledsaw, no age listed, of Decatur, and Ivonne Garza, no age listed, of Danville. Bledsaw was cited for failure to yield.

Thursday, 12:55-1:09 p.m. A medical call in the first block of South Virginia Avenue.

Thursday, 3:10-3:58 p.m. A basement fire at 1219 Sheridan St.

Thursday, 5:11-6:14 p.m. A power line down at 311 Harmon St.

Thursday, 9:51-10:10 p.m. A private alarm at 700 W. Fairchild St.

Thursday, 10:08-10:17 p.m. A medical call in the 200 block of Grace Street.

Thursday, 10:35-10:47 p.m. A medical call in the 500 block of East Main Street.
