DANVILLE — Monetary and food donations to St. James Food Pantry will go even further this month.

For the 16th consecutive year, the Alan Shawn Feinstein Foundation will divide $1 million among nonprofit hunger-fighting agencies nationwide, using it as a spur to help them raise funds in March and April.

The food pantry at St. James United Methodist Church will report donations received during these months and, in turn, be granted a proportionate match based on how many dollars and food items are donated.

Donations will be received at 504 N. Vermilion St.
