DANVILLE — The University of Illinois Extension Office in Vermilion County will have Master Gardener training classes starting in January.
Trainees attend an all-day class once a week for 11 weeks. Each class covers a different garden-related topic such as botany, insects and vegetables, etc. and is taught by a University of Illinois educator. Class price is $175 and includes an extensive book. Partial scholarships are available; interested parties should register soon as class size is limited.
