HILLSDALE, Ind. — An Indiana family lost everything in a Tuesday morning fire.
The Hillsdale Fire Department was called to a blaze at 8:17 a.m. EST Tuesday at 3865E 775S, Hillsdale.
The home, according to a press release, was fully involved upon firefighters’ arrival.
Firefighters worked to put the fire out, but encountered problems with having enough water from tankers.
Mutual aid to handle the fire was called in from more than five other fire departments.
The house and contents were deemed a total loss.

Monday:
Burglary in the 900 block of Timberline Drive.
Furniture stolen in the 200 block of North Vermilion Street.
Battery reported at Danville Stadium.
Forgery reported in the 700 block of West Fairchild Street.
Burglary in the 1200 block of Garden Drive.
30 bales of hay stolen along County Road 80E, Homer.
$30 in gasoline stolen at Mobil Super Pantry, 610 S. Bowman Ave.
Check stolen in the 400 block of East Kelly Street, Belgium.
Forgery reported in the 100 block of West Main Street, Hoopeston.
Property damage reported in the first block of Ohio Street.
Tuesday:
A woman arrested for disorderly conduct in the 900 block of Redden Court.
Firefighters responded to the following calls:
Monday, 9:41-10:04 p.m. — A medical call in the first block of Camelot Drive.
Monday, 11:06-11:12 p.m. — A medical call in the 300 block of Bradley Lane.
Tuesday, 1:01-1:16 a.m. — A woman fallen in the 1500 block of English Street.
Tuesday, 2:33-2:35 a.m. — An investigation in the 1900 block of Edison Street.
