DANVILLE — Here’s a look at recent law enforcement calls:

Danville

Wednesday:

Vehicle burglary in the 400 block of West Main Street.

Thursday:

Burglary in the 1900 block of Deerwood Drive.

A man arrested for retail theft in the first block of East South Street.

A man arrested for criminal trespassing at Danville High School, 202 E. Fairchild St.

A man arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver in the 900 block of Hartshorn Lane.

A man arrested for domestic battery in the first block of Crystal Drive.

Vermilion County

Thursday:

Medication stolen in the 2500 block of Georgetown Road.

Property damage in the 1600 block of Lincoln Street, Tilton.

A man arrested for domestic battery in the 300 block of West Penn Street, Hoopeston.

A man arrested for domestic battery in the 700 block of South Sixth Avenue, Hoopeston.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Thursday, 12:57 p.m. – At Vermilion and Dodge streets involving Christopher Gonzales, 35, of Rossville, and Charles Reavill, 35, of Danville. Gonzales was cited for improper lane usage.

Thursday, 1:24 p.m. – In the 600 block of Short Street, Westville, involving Duane Stevenson, 48, of Georgetown, and Joyce Edwards, 67, of Georgetown. Stevenson was cited for improper lane usage. Edwards and a passenger — James Edwards Jr., 46, of Georgetown — were taken to Provena United Samaritans Medical Center where they were treated and released.

Firefighters responded to the following calls:

Thursday, 7:23-7:35 p.m. — A medical call in the 1800 block of East Main Street.

Thursday, 11:04-11:18 p.m. — a medical call in the 1500 block of North Vermilion Street.
