Boys & Girls Club Club offers budgeting seminar

DANVILLE — The Boys & Girls Club is partnering with Western-Southern Financial Group to present a free budgeting and money flow seminar.

The seminar will be at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 4 at the club, 850 N. Griffin St.

The seminar will cover topics such as setting up personal financial goals and plans, how to create a budget and tips to following it, understanding your current financial picture and how to plan for the future. The seminar will be put on by W-SFG representative Holly Brown.

“We believe this seminar will be very beneficial to the community as a whole, especially as we prepare to go into the holiday season,” said program director Amy Williams. “It is very critical that we understand how to control our finances in light of the issues we are facing with the economy.”

All community members are invited to attend. Call 442-0068 to reserve a spot. Food and drinks will be provided. Door prizes will be given away.
