Provena plans memorial service

DANVILLE — The Pastoral Care Department of Provena United Samaritans Medical Center will offer a Little Angels Christmas memorial service at 7 p.m. Thursday in the chapel at the hospital, 812 N. Logan Ave.

After the service, an optional session on grief during the holidays will be offered which includes discussion, handouts, and a video called “A Ray of Hope.” Registration is not necessary.

Little Angels is a support group is for parents and others who are suffering because of the loss of a child through miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth or very young infant death. The group meets the first Thursday of every month at 7 p.m.
