Farm Bureau to feature auction

The Vermilion County Farm Bureau Foundation will conduct its fourth annual silent auction during the Vermilion County Farm Bureau annual meeting at the Beef House Banquet Center near Covington, Ind.

Registration will begin at 6 p.m. CST The buffet dinner will be served at 6:30.

One of the items on this year’s auction is a basketball signed by Fighting Illini head basketball coach Bruce Weber. Online bids are now being taken and will be added to the silent auction sheet during the evening. Visit http://www.vcfb.info, and follow the links to the silent auction bid form. The deadline to submit an online bid is Wednesday.

Other items on the auction include a wooden John Deere tractor and mower carved by Gerald Drennan, an Americana comforter set, two pair of Danville Dans 2010 season tickets and more.
