Georgetown school to honor area veterans

GEORGETOWN — Mary Miller Junior High will have a Veterans Day assembly at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday at the school.

Representatives from the Veterans of Foreign Wars will talk about flag history and flag etiquette. They will demonstrate the proper folding technique for the American flag and finish the presentation by lowering the flag, presenting arms, and playing “Taps.”
