ROUNDUP: Police arrest third suspect in robbery

DANVILLE The third suspect in an armed robbery case was arrested by Danville police on Wednesday.

Jonathan Barry, no age or address listed, was arrested Thursday on a Vermilion County warrant charging him in connection with an incident last week.

Barry and two other men are accused of forcing their way into a home on Oct. 21 while armed with an unnamed deadly weapon and stealing a PlayStation III.

Barry’s bond is set at $250,000. The other two defendants were arrested and charged last week in the case.

Here’s a look at weekend police calls:

Tuesday:

Purse stolen at Bremer Avenue and Williams Street.

Wednesday:

$15 in gasoline stolen at Phillips 66, 2602 N. Vermilion St.

A man arrested for aggravated domestic battery along Cleveland Street.

Two men arrested for battery and a third man arrested for aggravated assault at Julee’s Shooting Star, 109 W. Main St., Westville.

Disorderly conduct reported in the 300 block of North Logan Avenue.

Domestic battery in the 500 block of Palomino Drive.

An oxygen tank stolen in a vehicle burglary in the 1300 block of West Williams Street.

Aggravated home repair fraud in the 800 block of West Vermilion Street, Catlin.

Disorderly conduct reported in the 200 block of North Vermilion Street.

Burglary in the 1200 block of Clarence Street.

Stolen vehicle reported in the 100 block of South Iroquois Street, Rankin.

Financial exploitation reported in the 700 block of Grant Street.

A deer stand stolen along County Road 3800N, Hoopeston.

Speakers stolen in a vehicle burglary in the 1500 block of Crestview Avenue.

Thursday:

A man arrested for disorderly conduct at the Oaklawn Inn, 1824 E. Main St.

A man arrested for aggravated battery and mob action at the Black Bear Inn, 1902 W. Williams St.

A man arrested for disorderly conduct and interfering with a domestic violence report in the first block of Dequimpal Street, Westville.

Battery in the 200 block of Lindenwood Drive.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Wednesday, 11 a.m. — In the 900 block of Wakley Drive involving Tanya Price, 18, of the 100 block of Stroup Street. Price was cited for improper backing and leaving the scene of an accident.

Firefighters responded to the following calls:

Thursday, 3:56-4:06 p.m. —A medical call in the 400 block of Chandler Street.

Thursday, 4:56-5:18 p.m. — A medical call in the 1800 block of East Main Street.

Thursday, 6:30-6:44 p.m. — A medical call in the 2700 block of Townway Street.
