DANVILLE — Here’s a look at recent law enforcement calls:

Danville

Thursday:

Battery in the 1200 block of Perrysville Road.

A man and a woman arrested for possession of cannabis in the 1300 block of East Main Street. The man was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

A cellular phone and check stolen in the 600 block of Sherman Street.

A bicycle stolen in the 1000 block of Chandler Street.

A man arrested for aggravated assault and criminal trespassing at Danville Liquor, 1816 E. Main St.

Vehicle burglary and theft in the 1100 block of North Vermilion Street.

Domestic battery in the first block of Grace Street.

Battery reported at Clay and Robinson streets.

Domestic battery in the 2900 block of North Vermilion Street.

Lawnmower stolen in a burglary in the 400 block of North Griffin Street.

A man arrested for domestic battery in the 600 block of South Bowman Avenue.

Vermilion County

Thursday:

Mailbox damaged along County Road 500N, Allerton.

Vehicle burglarized in the 1800 block of Washington Street, Tilton.

Three mailboxes damaged along County Road 1450E.

Mailbox damaged along County Road 500N, Sidell.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Thursday, 11:17 a.m. – At East Main and Illinois streets involving Luther Tate Jr., 25, of the first block of Ohio Street. Tate was cited for driving without insurance, leaving the scene of an accident, failing to give information and no valid driver’s license.

Thursday, 11:24 a.m. – At Collette and East Main streets involving Jody Williamson, 31, of Westville, and Timothy White, 45, of Danville. Williamson was cited for driving without insurance and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Firefighters responded to the following calls:

Thursday, 11:15-11:37 a.m. — A carbon monoxide detector check at 1234 Garden Drive.

Thursday, 1:56-2:21 p.m. — An illegal burn at 313 N. Jackson St.

Thursday, 2:13-2:20 p.m. — A medical call in the 1900 block of Voorhees Street.

Thursday, 10:38-10:51 p.m. — An alarm activation at 1703 N. Bowman Ave.

Thursday, 11:33-11:48 p.m. — A medical call in the 100 block of Oregon Street.

Friday, 4:15-4:51 a.m. — An electrical problem at 1613 Logan Ave.
