Roundup: Third suspect arrested in cab robbery

DANVILLE DANVILLE — The third suspect in a weekend cab robbery was arrested by police.

Two men — Conshawn Bradley, 25, of Crest Hill, and Charles Henry, 21, of Danville — were charged on Tuesday in connection with the robbery of a cab driver on Saturday in Danville.

On Thursday the third suspect in that case was arrested by police. Michael Davis, no age or address listed, was booked at 7:45 p.m. Thursday at the Public Safety Building jail by Danville police. Bond was not immediately set.

He was taken into custody in the 2700 block of Townway Street.

Davis faces a charge of armed robbery. He, along with Bradley and Henry, are accused of robbing an Urbana cab driver while armed with a gun on Saturday.

Retail theft at County Market, 2 E. Main St.

Burglary in the 600 block of Jewell Street.

Property damage in the 1600 block of Edgewood Drive.

Battery in the 1200 block of Garden Drive.

Bicycle stolen in the first block of East Main Street.

Property damage in the 1000 block of Robinson Street.

Burglary reported at Subway, 100 S. Gilbert St.

Forgery and theft in the 1200 block of North Logan Avenue.

A woman arrested for disorderly conduct in the 1600 block of Clyman Court.

Friday:

A woman arrested for possession of a controlled substance at Bowman Avenue and Perrysville Road.

Domestic battery in the 1200 block of James Street.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Thursday, 3:06 p.m. — At Fairchild Street and Kingdom Avenue involving Cassandra Kennedy, 18, of the 700 block of North Griffin Street, and Chris Rudy, 24, of the 1000 block of Fera Street. Kennedy was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident while Rudy was cited for driving without proof of insurance.

Thursday, 5:32 p.m. — In the 800 block of East Main Street involving Samantha Laker, 27, of the 100 block of Indiana Street, and Terri Davis, 35, of Danville. Laker was cited for improper lane usage and driving without proof of insurance.

Thursday, 7:38-7:49 a.m. — A medical call in the 100 block of North State Street.

Thursday, 2:26-2:40 p.m. — A medical call in the 100 block of South Buchanan Street.

Thursday, 11:20-11:32 p.m. — Food on a stove sparked a call to 1620 Edgewood Drive.

Friday, 12:57-1:11 a.m. — An investigation at Williams and Indiana streets.

Friday, 4:44-5:08 a.m. — A medical call in the 100 block of California Avenue.
