Dorothy worked at Continental Filling, then as a beautician for many years. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, going to garage sales, bowling and playing cards at the Sportsman’s Club. She was a big sports fan and especially loved the St. Louis Cardinals and the Illini. She was known for her home cooking and family dinners. She played a big part in raising Brandy, Taylor, Corey, and Zachary, and loved every minute of it.
A celebration of her life will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, at the Veteran’s Chapel on the VA Hospital grounds, 1900 E. Main St. in Danville. Kevin Cox will officiate the memorial.
