City recognizes Make it Bloom! winners

DANVILLE —
The city of Danville has announced winners in the 12th annual Make it Bloom! contest. The city coordinated the contest, along with help from the Commercial-News.
Winners will be honored at a banquet at 6 p.m. Oct. 16 at Harrison Park Clubhouse.
The annual event promotes a better appearance for city neighborhoods through the use of flowering plants.
The grand prize of $200 went to Sue Ann Seright of 1226 N. Vermilion.
