DANVILLE — Here’s a look at recent law enforcement calls:
Danville
Saturday:
Domestic battery and theft in the 1800 block of East Main Street.
Theft in the first block of Bremer Avenue.
A man arrested for improper use of registration, operating an uninsured vehicle, burglary and retail theft at the Village Mall, 2917 N. Vermilion St.
Trespassing in the 1100 block of North Jackson Street.
Battery in the 1600 block of North Jackson Street.
Theft in the 1100 block of North Franklin Street.
A man arrested for criminal trespassing and assault in the 1400 block of Lape Street.
Sunday:
Robbery at Marathon gas, 851 E. Main St.
A man arrested for assault and disorderly conduct in the 400 block of North Bowman Avenue.
Battery and trespassing in the 500 block of Commercial Street.
Tools stolen in a burglary in the 300 block of East Raymond Street.
Door lock damaged in the 300 block of North Vermilion Street.
Vermilion County
Saturday:
Property damage in the 300 block of North State Street, Ridge Farm.
Domestic battery at County Road 1950E and Illinois Route 9.
A woman arrested for obstructing justice, aggravated battery and resisting arrest in the 1800 block of Perrysville Road. A man was arrested for obstructing an officer.
Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:
Sunday, 3:23 p.m. – At Logan Avenue and Harrison Street involving Shayveyanna Smith, 17, of the 800 block of North Bowman Avenue, and Scott Mitchell, 27, of Tilton. Smith was cited for failure to yield. Both drivers were taken to Provena United Samaritans Medical Center .
Firefighters responded to the following calls:
Sunday, 7:42-7:53 a.m. — A medical all in the 1200 block of Saratoga Drive.
Sunday, 3:25-3:35 p.m. — An accident with minor injuries at Logan Avenue and Harrison Street.
Sunday, 9:02-9:10 p.m. — A medical call in the 700 block of South Forrest Street.
Sunday, 11:37-11:55 p.m. — A medical call in the 900 block of Belton Avenue.
Monday, 2:23-2:54 a.m. — A call to 110 Pine St. caused by an electrical short.
