Danville

Tuesday:

Counterfeit $20 bill reported at United Community Bank, 821 N. Vermilion St.

Wednesday:

Criminal trespassing in the 900 block of Elm Street.

A woman arrested for endangering the life of a child in the 900 block of James Place.

A man arrested for domestic battery in the 1200 block of North Robinson Street.

Burglary in the 1200 block of Griggs Street.

A man arrested for disorderly conduct at Main and State streets.

Burglary in the 2300 block of North Vermilion Street.

Vehicle burglary in the 800 block of East Fairchild Street.

Two wooden posts damaged in the 1300 block of North Vermilion Street.

Two women arrested for criminal damage to property, criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct in the 1600 block of Griggs Street.

A man arrested for retail theft at Wal-Mart Supercenter, 4101 N. Vermilion St.

Domestic battery in the first block of Nicklas Avenue.

Window broken at First Midwest Bank, 1000 E. Voorhees St.

Retail theft at Price-Less Foods, 501 W. Fairchild St.

Computer hard drive and jewelry stolen in a burglary in the 100 block of Tennessee Avenue.

Thursday:

Burglary, theft and property damage in the 800 block of West Fairchild Street.

Vermilion County

Wednesday:

A man arrested for domestic battery in the 800 block of West Main Street, Hoopeston.

Disorderly conduct in the 600 block of South Fourth Street.

Disorderly conduct along County Road 1200N, Westville.

A man arrested for domestic battery in the first block of Hegeler Lane.

Battery in the 400 block of Main Street, Oakwood.

Thursday:

Domestic incident in the 11500 block of Kickapoo Park Road, Oakwood.

A man arrested for domestic battery, unlawful restraint and criminal damage to property along County Road 1700E, Rossville.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Wednesday, 2:05 p.m. – At Maple Street and Colfax Drive involving Tannika Poole, 33, of the 1100 block of Grant Street, and Jacqueline Walker, 31, of Danville. Poole was cited for improper overtaking of a vehicle.

Firefighters responded to the following calls:

Wednesday, 4:17-4:31 p.m. — A medical call in the 1700 block of East English Street.

Wednesday, 4:20-4:27 p.m. — A medical call in the 600 block of Harmon Avenue.

Wednesday, 5:34-5:46 p.m. — A medical call in the 1000 block of Oak Street.

Wednesday, 5:55-6:08 p.m. — A medical call in the 1600 block of Robinson Street.

Wednesday, 6:50-6:59 p.m. — A medical call in the 1200 block of Garden Drive.

Wednesday, 7:05-7:31 p.m. — A faulty air conditioning unit at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center, 801 N. Logan Ave.

Wednesday, 7:39-8:04 p.m. — An illegal fire investigation at 3363 N. Vermilion St.

Wednesday, 8:38-8:51 p.m. — A medical call in the 2700 block of Denmark Road.

Wednesday, 10:18-10:24 p.m. — A medical call in the 200 block of Hazel Street.

Thursday, 12:33-1:04 a.m. — Burning food prompted a call to 101 E. Seminary St.

Thursday, 1:48-2:05 a.m. — A medical call in the 1200 block of Marion Street.

Thursday, 2:18-2:31 a.m. — A medical call in the 800 block of Sherman Street.

Thursday, 4:26-4:46 a.m. — A medical call in the 1600 block of Edgewood Drive.
