Danville

Wednesday:

A man arrested for possession of cannabis at East Main and State streets.

Thursday:

Theft and forgery in the 100 block of Warrington Avenue.

Trespassing and disorderly conduct in the 1200 block of North Jackson Street.

A man arrested for domestic battery at South Bowman Avenue and Bart Street.

A man arrested for battery and criminal trespassing in the 500 block of Jewell Street.

Friday:

Assault in the 200 block of Grace Street.

Vermilion County

Thursday:

Identity theft in the 100 block of Wilson Street, Henning.

Dog stolen along County Road 3800N, Hoopeston.

Theft along County Road 800N, Georgetown.

Friday:

A man arrested for aggravated battery in the 400 block of South Second Street, Hoopeston.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Wednesday, 3:54 p.m. – At 311 W. Fairchild St. involving Connie Terell, 58, of the first block of North State Street. She was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Wednesday, 11:15 p.m. – At Winter Avenue and Franklin Street involving Matthew Cox, 16, of the 1600 block of North Gilbert Street. Cox was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and failing to report the accident.

Firefighters responded to the following calls:

Thursday, 7:39-7:47 p.m. — A medical call in the 900 block of Harmon Avenue.

Thursday, 9:06-9:29 p.m. — A carbon monoxide incident at 831 N. Bowman Ave.

Thursday, 10:47-11:02 p.m. — A medical call in the 600 block of Sherman Street.

Thursday, 11:49 p.m.-12:01 a.m. — A medical call in the 1400 block of Lape St.

Friday, 3:53-4:05 a.m. — A medical call in the 600 block of Warrington Avenue.
