10 seek fair queen title

OAKWOOD — The Vermilion County Fair and Expo will hold the 50th annual queen pageant at 7 tonight at the grandstand.

The following contestants will compete for the crown:

-- Brittani Brandon, 18, of Danville. Brandon is a sophomore at Danville Area Community College. She is the daughter of Keith and Tricia Peoples.

-- Sharhea Brown, 17, of Alvin. Brown is a senior at Bismarck-Henning High School. She is the daughter of Cyrus and Beckie Brown.

-- Abigail Foster, 16, of Hoopeston. Foster is a junior at Hoopeston Area High School. She is the daughter of Thomas and Angie Foster.

-- BritnyHoag, 17, of Fairmount. She is a senior at Jamaica High School. She is the daughter of Andrew and Lisa Hoag.

-- Lauren Jaynes, 18, of Danville. She is a freshman at DACC. She is the daughter or Perry and Sherry Jaynes.

-- Hayley Lockwood, 16, of Catlin. She is a senior at Catlin High School. She is the daughter of John and Jennifer Lockwood.

-- Tessa Nolen, 17, of Westville. She is a freshman at the University of Illinois. She is the daughter of Beverly and Ron Irvin.

-- Kathryn Patton, 17, of Sidell. She is a senior at Jamaica. She is the daughter of Jim and Shelley Patton.

-- Anna Rush, 19, of Danville. She is a sophomore at DACC. She is the daughter of Jeff and Linda Rush.

-- Heather Siddens, 20, of Danville. She is a junior at Indiana State University. She is the daughter of John Siddens and Bobbette French.
