It has come to my attention some of the large chain stores that advertise 10 items for $10. Some people think that means 10 items for $1 each. It really is not $1 each when it is rung up at the checkout because you have to buy 10 items individually or mix and match 10 items to get the sale price. The buy 10 items, get one free deal is another one to be on the lookout for on the register receipt.
Watch your receipts closely to see if you’re getting the bargain you think you are. If not, complain to the manager about the tricky advertising.
I have caught several stores at this game.
