Obamacare rollout is a premature fiasco

The Commercial-News

---- — Obamacare rollout a fiasco

Let’s not be fooled by flacks pushing lame excuses and shifting blame for the fiasco that hit America Oct. 1, the Obamacare rollout. The fault isn’t information technology contractors or whatever. It’s the whole big-government approach to health care that is bombing, failing royally.

Rather than using these past 3 1/2 years to fix Obamacare, President Obama just continued “selling” it — and dispensed illegal favors to supportive interest groups to delay its unpleasant effects — until after the 2012 and 2014 elections.

It’s becoming ever easier to see the general turmoil, individual harm and economic disruption that continues to build with the implementation of Obamacare.

It’s hard not to recognize the callous indifference, the utter lack of concern and deep cynicism Obama has while imposing his “signature achievement” upon America. Why would our president do this to us? Barack Obama has other goals than most of us. Aided by the Pelosi-Reid ruled Democratic Congress of 2009-2010, he managed to install a framework from which to eventually attain the 100-year old leftist ideologues’ dream: total government control of everybody’s health care.

To attain that, Obamacare must first be made to fail, setting up the public to clamor desperately for single-payer nationalized health care. It was designed to do just that. The intended failure, however, was to be such that the blame falls on insurance companies, hospitals, doctors, pharmacies and, above all, Republican “obstructionists.”

Obamacare is going off the tracks too soon, and in a way reflecting very badly on Obama and the Democrats. This wasn’t supposed to happen.
