Defund Obamacare

Defund Obamacare

Congress must defund ObamaCare before the exchanges go into effect on Oct. 1, 2013. Congress should fully fund the entire government but should oppose any resolution that provides funding for ObamaCare. This action would not involve a government “shutdown” since all of the normal government programs would be funded.

President Obama even admits that the law isn’t ready to implement as he’s delayed the employer mandate until after the next election.

The White House gave waivers to Congress and some staffers. Apparently the law doesn’t apply equally to all Americans. Washington elites and their special interest groups are exempt from the law while individuals must comply or pay a penalty.

ObamaCare is a job-killing law. To avoid the employer mandate, businesses have reduced workers hours and have been discouraged to expand and hire additional full time employees. This may explain why 77 percent of jobs created this year were only part-time positions.

The president’s strongest supporters, the labor union leaders, now complain that ObamaCare will end the 40-hour work week.

Please sign the national petition to defund this law at and contact both U.S. senators and your U.S. representative before Oct. 1.
