WEST LEBANON, Ind. —
The state of Illinois has prepared a plan to remove two dams in the Danville area. The cost is several million dollars to be paid by the state plus a unknown amount to be paid by city of Danville.
There has been little demand from the public for the dam removal.
At a time when Illinois is cutting school funding and is behind on all its debts does it not seem strange that millions of dollars are available for a project that few want or have even seen?
