Report delinquents

DANVILLE — Editor:

This letter goes out to the parents of juvenile delinquent kids. Do you know where your kids are or what they are up to?

Let me start by saying I saved for years to get my dream car. And to no fault of my own, I have thousands of dollars in damages. On May 18 around 11:30 a.m., I was driving back to work between East Seminary and Section streets. My new car was greatly damaged by kids throwing rocks. I chased them, but they got away, luckily for them.

Will these four delinquents strike again? Have they nothing constructive to do? Was it fun or funny to them? Would they have liked to be on the receiving end? Would those four boys have done this to their family or friends?

My car wasn’t the only one damaged on those streets that day. The police have your descriptions, and so do I. So beware!

This is for the public: Please report kids who are up to no good and save someone from having their dream car damaged.
