Here are some of the good things readers noticed around the area recently:
Students and staff at Kenneth D. Bailey Academy will have their first rummage sale beginning at 8 a.m. today at the academy, the former Holy Family School on East Main Street.
“We would like to give a special thanks to all of the teachers who have donated items, one special teaching assistant, Tina Miller, who volunteered to pick up donations from the Rock Church, Deanne Clapp who has provided a lot of great things, members of the community who have dropped off items and our school custodians who have been a huge help. We have our stage full of items for our rummage sale.”

“Thank you to the newspapers and radio stations for getting the word out there.
“Lastly, a huge thank-you to all of the volunteers and participants who were mostly the volunteers. Without you, this event would not have been possible. We hope to be able to count on your generosity of resources, talent and time in the future for other events.”
