Hearts and darts

DANVILLE — Here are some of the good things readers noticed around the area recently:

Shirley Butcher of Danville sends hearts “to the Danville Care Therapy Department.

“I had arthritis, and the Therapy Department helped me.

“I feel much better.

“Thanks go out to Rodger and the rest of the crew.”

Jeremy and Becky Claypool of Covington, Ind., as well as their families, send hearts “to all the businesses, church and civic groups, friends and family in the Illiana area who have donated their time, support and gifts for medical expenses and silent auction since our son Ian Claypool’s cancer diagnosis.

“Two more benefits are planned to help with Ian’s medical expenses: A square dance and silent auction will be July 28 in Clarks Hill, Ind. It will begin at 2:30 p.m. EDT. The caller is John Holman. There will be food as well as silent auction items.
