“Hearts and much thanks to everyone who participated in the poker run, volunteered, purchased 50/50 and raffle tickets, food, T-shirts, bandannas, can coolers, pink hearts, entertained or helped out in any way. Hopefully we haven’t forgotten to mention anyone, if we have, please know that it was not intentional. Thanks to all of you for your overwhelming generosity and kindness, without you this benefit for Chasity would not have been successful.

“We cannot do what we do without you. You are greatly appreciated!”

Chuck Brooks of Danville sends hearts “to the Vermilion County Conservation District on the dedication of its new Environmental Education Center at Kennekuk County Park. I especially want to thank Ken Konsis, executive director of the conservation district and the board of trustees for their hard work. Ken’s vision is becoming a reality for Vermilion County. His hard work and direction continues to make our county parks some of the best in the state.
