Here are some of the good things readers noticed around the area recently:
Janet Hacker of Danville sends hearts “to many people.”
“hearts to my brother-in-law Ray Foster for stepping in Dec. 16 and taking me to the veterinarian when my son Tony Thomason had to work overtime; to my nephew Anthony Foster for treating my dog Gracie like a new-born baby during the trip;to Andrew, my other nephew, for his back-up and moral support; and to Susan Thomason, my daughter-in-law, for picking up medicine for me.
“Hearts to Dr. Witherspoon and his staff at FAirchild Animal Hospital, who took such very tender and wonderful care of Gracie during her time there, explaining everything to us. And then again on Dec. 19 when I had to take her back as Gracies wasn’t doing the best. Again, the staff was most gracious. It was so hard to leave her.
“Hearts to all of my family and friends for the calls and prayers on my loss. My ‘sunshine of my life’ is now romping without pain with the other puppie dogs. Goodbye, my Gracie. I’ll always love and miss you, my companion for 10 years.”
The Vermilion County War Museum Board of Directors sends to hearts to “the many people and organizations that donated to the museum this holiday season.”
