Editor:

It seems one Republican candidate for the nomination for governor in the March 18 primary election has spent millions of dollars on TV ads to try and buy his way to the nomination. He has been endorsed by the Cook County Republicans. Wonder what that cost him?

Lets vote March 18 for state Sen. Kirk Dillard. Kirk was Jim Edgar’s chief of staff when the state was in the black and has proven himself in Springfield as a senator. He has helped cut spending, pioneered major job bills, landmark ethic reform, sweeping crime bills and concealed carry.

He graduated from Western Illinois University and DePaul Law School.

His running mate for lieutenant governor is Jill Tracy, a wife and mother of four, an attorney, small businesswoman who knows how to create jobs, served on the legislative ethics commission, and Blagojevich impeachment panel. She is a double SIU graduate.

Let’s all vote March 18 for Republicans Dillard-Tracy. If they don’t win this one, they don’t get on the ballot in November. Let’s turn Illinois around for the better.
