Uniforms are nonsense

The Commercial-News

---- — Editor:

I no longer have kids in school, but uniforms are nonsense. There are parents less fortunate than others, struggling to put food on the table and pay bills. What about the ones who are homeless? This puts more of a burden on them.

The schools did not enforce the dress code about no low-cut shirts and pants hanging to your knees before, so why worry now? Some of us feel school employees should go by the same rules.

All employees across the board, including administration and regional, should wear the same uniform. If they fail to do so, they should be given a written warning, then suspended without pay and finally expelled permanently. Also, the employee’s name and the place they work at should be made public on the front page of the Commercial-News.
