Slaughter said they hope to give back to the community with part of the fundraiser by giving two Thanksgiving and two Christmas dinners to deserving families this year, a thank you for the support the community has given to the North Fork Conservation Club during the years.

The club has about 200 members, according to Slaughter, and stocks the lake four times a year. Membership is $60 per year, seniors 60 and over and disabled $50.
