HOOPESTON — The Pink Poodle and Unique Boutique of St. Joseph moved to Hoopeston recently and had its grand opening recently.

The new location, 1016 W. Orange St., is in the old McDonald’s building located on Illinois Route 9 in Hoopeston Plaza.

“My kids go to school here,” said Lisa Breymeyer of Rankin, “and it was easier for me to be open every day. The kids can come here after school.”

The shop specializes in birthday parties, special occasions and group outings for little girls. The princess make-overs include a beautiful up-do with fake hair pieces, light make-up, fingernail painting and a tiara for the birthday girl.

Party Package for Princesses costs are: one princess, $25; six princesses, $100; and 10 princesses, $130.

The Pink Poodle also offers something for boys, men and women. There’s a little something for everyone with a selection of handbags, hobo bags, messenger bags, clutch purses, color-coordinated selection of jewelry for everyday wear, scarfs, bling belts, wine accessories, wine cork cages, wine bottle holders, bling key chains, baby items, children’s tutus, and children’s jewelry. Some unusual display areas are a special treat to see when shopping.

“I just wanted something for Hoopeston,” Breymeyer said.
