Adult living community opens its doors



Construction for the 32-unit, 34,000 square foot facility began early in 2012 and was completed this past summer. Fees at Autumn Fields start at $2,500 per month. The owners have plans and infrastructure ready for an additional 46 apartments whenever there is a need for more living space.

3-6 p.m. — Free refreshments; music by pianist; ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4 p.m.


Noon-4 p.m. — Cookout; pumpkin decorating contest; WHPO live remote from noon-2 p.m.


Noon-4 p.m. — Movie and Popcorn Day


3-6 p.m. — Health Fair Day; free blood pressure and blood sugar checks; music by local pianist; free ham and bean dinner


3-6 p.m. — Game Day; play a game of bingo and enjoy free refreshments

Oct. 31

3-6pm — Trick or Treat Day; bring the kids and grandkids to trick or treat

Nov. 1

3-6 p.m. — Music Day; enjoy music by the Hoopeston Area High School Jazz Band, Show/Jazz Choir and local pianist. Warm up with a free chili dinner.
