HOOPESTON — The Hoopeston chapter of Blessings in a Backpack is hosting an ongoing fundraiser from now until Wednesday. This is a weekend food program for students who have qualified for the federal free lunch program, making sure they have a backpack full of food every weekend during the school year.

Supporters of this program may purchase flower bulbs for the upcoming season through Flower Power Fundraising by visiting www.flowerpowerfundraising.com; select “Place Order” on top right of screen. Search phrases are: “Blessings, Hoopeston, IL.” To order in person, call Connie Huffman at 748-6567. Orders will be shipped directly to customers.
