Non-profit sets vendor fair

HOOPESTON — Women Making a Difference, a non-profit organization in Hoopeston, will host its second annual vendor fair from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Hoopeston Civic Center.

This year proceeds will go toward replacing equipment and uniforms for the local fire department and city. Other money raised will go toward three or four scholarships for college-bound graduating females, Teen Reach, Blessings in a Backpack and Feed My Lambs, local food cupboard and more.

The group will sell gas card raffle tickets in various locations. To participate as a vendor, call Betty at 283-5715 or Judy at (309) 507-2946.
