Last weekend’s snowstorm blasted through the Vermilion County area in full force, dropping about 10 inches of snow pushed by wind gusts exceeding 30 mph. Some of us still are trying to dig out completely.
When such situations arise, some of us find out we might not be able to handle all of Mother Nature’s gifts without a little extra help. There are the plowing crews, of course, and many other emergency personnel who go out of their way to protect and serve the public.
Then there are the many, many little efforts that make coming through the storm just a bit easier.
We’d like to recognize those good guys who helped others after the storm. If you want to thank someone, send us the information — who, what, when, where, why — along with your name, address and contact information by Thursday morning.
We’ll run a special storm edition of Hearts & Darts in our Jan. 19 edition.
We know they’re out there. Let us know who did a good deed for you after the storm.
