2012 early rush to graduate

DANVILLE — While many think that high school graduation occurs in May, for many students, December marks the end of their high school career.

Senior Destiny Smith says that “graduating early will give me a head start. I have enough college credits earned to transfer early and begin my college life sooner.”

Other students want to pursue other aspirations, like the military.

Senior Tyler Tallman says, “I’m graduating early so I can get a jump start on my military career. I know what I want to do with my life; high school has prepared me well that I can leave earlier than most.”
